I am the founder of CoolStride LLC and a licensed cryotherapy specialist. My journey with horses began in 1986, leading to six years of weekly lessons before acquiring my first horse. By 1993, I was fully immersed in the equestrian show world.

Some of my show career is marked by notable achievements, including a Championship at the Congress, qualifying for the World Show, winning the Virginia State All-Around title, and receiving the prestigious AQHA Superhorse Award. The thrill of horse ownership and the undeniable bond I share with my horses became the catalyst for fulfilling a childhood dream and creating a lifestyle centered around these remarkable animals.

For the past 15 years, I have formed a special connection with a horse whose mind and body seemed to mirror my own. We both faced challenges with Lyme disease, muscle soreness, and joint issues. These experiences gave me a profound understanding of pain, muscle tightness, connective tissue restrictions, brain fog, irritability, and fatigue. Driven by my personal journey, I began exploring alternative therapies for both myself and my horse, and quickly discovered the remarkable benefits of cryotherapy!

Today, my 20-year-old Appendix Quarter Horse and I are fully embracing a therapy that has brought us back into the show ring after a 14-year hiatus and a period of deep hopelessness. The joy and relief I’ve experienced in seeing my horse feel his absolute best, even as he ages, is what fuels my passion to share the benefits of cryotherapy with as many horses and horse owners as possible. There’s nothing quite like the peace of mind that comes from knowing your horse is truly comfortable and happy, both in the barn and under saddle. When they feel good, their joy radiates through every stride, and that connection becomes even more rewarding.

I am truly passionate about helping every horse feel their absolute best, and it brings me immense joy to know that I can make a difference in their lives. Seeing them move freely, without unnecessary pain, is my greatest reward. Every horse deserves comfort and care, and I am dedicated to providing the support they need to live healthy, happy lives. Helping them heal and thrive is more than just a goal—its my hearts mission.
